helpless
wow, been some time since i wrote in this, and really, i could give a damn.
let's see, what's new? hrm. i don't know that i can really think back further than this weekend.
I was all ready on Friday to go home, and spend a quiet night playing my video games whichi neglect far too much. I even stayed at work a little longer than usual so as to avoid the temptation. then, as i'm walking down newbury street i get a call from Tim calling me to happy hour, it was late, there was probably a line, and unless a D line was waiting for me, i was going to pass. I walk down to the station and there is a friggin D line doors open, inviting me in. every time i think i'm out, something calls me back. dammitall.
the line was actually quite managable, just long enough for meto finish my aim is true, then i went in and beered it up. usual crowd, usual happenings, and after happy hour it was off to jake ivory's with adam and tony and friends. well, presto's first, but then jake ivorys, which was good fun. i took the night owl bus home for the first time ever, and i can't really say how it was, because i remember nothing of it but waiting for it, and then being home.
nicktoons on saturday, followed by sloth, and then off to devlin for the bostonians and acoustics show. i hated everything about going to that show so so much, but then i got there and the show was really good. then a bunch of us had dinner at city side, then katie mike and i killed time before the party at mary ann's. Two nights in a row, i felt awful. so we sat around a bit, drank a little, and then headed to the party. party was lots of fun, yep, adam was mr. goodtimes which was pretty entertaining. katie adam and i outstayed all the bostonians, until about 3, but katie was sleeping during parts of it. We headed homed, said it'd be cool if we could hitch a ride, then a car pulled up and it was diane which was weird, and she drove us home and adam passed out in the bathroom and i watched perfect strangers.
cartoons this morning, followed by mcdonalds and buffy. god i love that show. katie and i watched two eps, second one was really great.
then i got ready to play some sweet sweet video games and tim walked in. so instead of video games we watched some gameshow network. including an episode of late 70's family feud with Richard Dawson. and the man was tanked. absolutely wasted, and i'm sure he was for all the shows, and i don't know how i ever noticed it before today.
then finally, video games, broken up by simpsons and malcolm, and now south park and insomniac. oh weird, dave attelle clean-shaven... creepy.
yay for the work week.
